Barbara Cullum Masters - Confessions of an Angel Waitress

Barbara passed away on 23 February 2022, aged 61 (and one week) of a heart attack. She is now one of J-land angels, but always was one in the time that we knew her. A talented singer and a lovely character. The news of her death came totally unexpected. My thoughts are with her family and friends in Texas and beyond. May she rest in peace.

John Knox - Too stubborn to die

 John Knox, the husband of Krissy Knox, passed away today (18 February 2022) after a lengthy battle with cancer and associated complication.

John and Krissy logged his fight with various forms of bloodcancer. In 2006, he underwent a life-saving bonemarrow transplant. Over the past number of weeks, his condition deteriorated and he finally succumbed. John was a J-lander in his own right, see https://toostubborntodie.blogspot.com/.

We shall remember John as an example of great courage in the face of insurmountable adversity. Our thoughts go out to his wife Krissy and further family, including Valerie Fisher, his sister-in-law, who is also in J-land.
